The Depths is a radio show that uplifts different scenes and subcultures, and shows them in a historical context. These scenes and subcultures mark history with every show, and with each individual working together to put on these shows, community is lauded. Community is at the forefront of all music. I want to meet people and hear their stories. I want to learn and know people, and be engaged in communities that I normally wouldn’t have access to. Music is something that brings people from all walks of life together, and to be able to be a part of that is something that’s so incredibly close to my heart.
